Salvatore Zambito, CPA/ABV, CVA, has been in practice for over 40 years, with experience across all phases of corporate and individual taxation, estates and trusts, financial reporting, management and computer consulting, business valuations, troubled businesses, and bankruptcies, and divorce forensic accounting.
He believes in the value of relationships, views every client relationship as its partnership, and truly believes that Zerbo, Zambito & Cafaro’s success results from their client’s success.

His continual investment of time and resources in professional continuing education, state-of-the-art computer technology, and extensive business relationships indicates his commitment to excellence.
Sal is accredited in Business Valuation and a Certified Valuation Analyst, and he holds a Master of Taxation degree from the Washington School of Law (Washington Institute). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and the Valuation Services Interest Group.

Nicholas J. Cafaro, CPA/ABV/CFF, earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Villanova University in 1997. He began his career with the “Big Four” CPA firm Deloitte and Touche. Nick also worked as the Controller of a closely held company with over $60 million in revenue. Since then, he has specialized in small to medium-sized businesses and individuals’ varied accounting needs. He has over 20 years of experience in the public and private accounting sectors.
Nick has attained the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), as well as the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credentials. The AICPA established the ABV credential in 1998 for CPAs specializing in business valuation. The ABV credential is granted exclusively to CPAs who demonstrate considerable expertise in business valuation through their knowledge, skills, and experience.
Nick has been an expert witness in various business valuation and forensic accounting engagements, including divorce, shareholder litigation, lost profit analysis, and economic damages.
